Press Release

Berggruen Gallery is excited to announce that we will be building upon our #GalleryFromHome initiative with a weekly series of virtual group exhibitions aimed at sharing the communicative power of art with our clients and the community at a time when connection has become more important than ever before. Each installment will feature a curated selection of accessible contemporary works by artists whose practices—unique and disparate as they are, viewed individually—contribute to universal, expressive conversations that transcend the barriers of time and place.

Our first iteration of the program focuses on showstopping graphic works. From the masterful hard-edge abstractions of Al Held to the vivid woven geometries of Alicia McCarthy, these pieces offer boldness of presence and strength of form. The other artists featured are Alain Biltereyst, Matthew Feyld, Caio Fonseca, Alexander Gorlizki, Minku Kim, Paul Kremer, Jenny Sharaf, and Muzae Sesay.

While the gallery remains closed, we continue to be fully operational online. You can visit our website and Instagram to engage with us as we #GalleryFromHome! As always, if you have any inquiries please email info@berggruen.com
