Arrangements
November 20 – December 28, 2002

John Berggruen Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of recent sculpture and works on paper by Linda Ridgway. This exhibition opens Wednesday, November 20th, and will run through Saturday, December 28th, 2002.

In her second solo exhibition at John Berggruen Gallery, Dallas based artist Linda Ridgway exhibits recent sculpture using bronze, steel, silk and cloth. Also included will be selected works on paper.

Born in 1947 in Jeffersonville, IN, Linda Ridgway lives and works in Dallas, Texas. Ridgway, whose formal education includes an MFA from Tulane University and a BFA from Louisville School of Art, was trained as a printmaker but has since expanded her technical expertise and continues to explore, experiment and push the limits of mediums creating incredibly delicate work that remains intimate regardless of scale. Her work is included in a number of important private and public collections, including the Dallas Museum of Art, The Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston and The Weisman Collection, Los Angeles, CA.

An opening reception for the artist will be held on Wednesday, November 20th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
