In the exhibition "Life Line," Carnwath continues to use a distinctive combination of text, texture, pattern and image in her paintings. Familiar images of bunnies, buddhas, and the world, can be seen in her latest paintings that focus on happiness. Two of Carnwath's larger paintings entitled Trying Simply to Be Happy and Happiness is Possible engage the viewer with color and texture while questioning the value of personal happiness.
