Biography

Matthew Feyld was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1985. He began painting and drawing at a very early age. Feyld's paintings are minimalist and geometric studies of depth and form. The artist cites Agnes Martin as a strong artistic influence. Feyld works mostly with acrylic paint on canvas or wood panel. He has been the subject of many solo and group exhibitions internationally. His work as been shown in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, The United States, Scotland, and Sweden. Today, the artist lives and works in both Montreal and New York City, splitting his time between the two cities.
