Berggruen Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in The Art Show 2022 organized annually by the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA). Please visit us at Booth B8 at the Park Avenue Armory, New York. A preview gala benefiting the Henry Street Settlement will be held Wednesday, November 2.
The gallery is delighted to exhibit a solo presentation of work by British artist Lucy Williams. Known for her intricate mixed-media collages of Bauhaus and Modernist architecture in layers of Plexiglas, painted paper, piano wire, veneer, and other media, Williams is fascinated by the dualities between interiors and exteriors, particularly the tension between private and public. The gallery will showcase a selection of Williams’s new bas-relief collages, including her Palm Springs pools, libraries, and threaded collages—her recent exploration into abstraction.
