Born in 1947 in Jeffersonville, IN, Linda Ridgway lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
Ridgway, whose formal education includes an MFA from Tulane University and a BFA from Louisville School of Art, was trained as a printmaker but has since expanded her technical expertise and continues to explore, experiment and push the limits of mediums creating incredibly delicate work that remains intimate regardless of scale. Her work is included in a number of important private and public collections, including the Dallas Museum of Art, The Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston and The Weisman Collection, Los Angeles, CA.
